Afternoon 3x per week\u00a0 4\/5s class!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Class Days: <\/strong>Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday<\/p>\n

Class Time:<\/strong> 12:45-3:15pm<\/p>\n

Tuition<\/strong> \u2013 $2450 for the 2026-2027 school year.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

In our 4\/5\u2019s class the focus is on child initiated themes and activities while ensuring that standards are met in accordance with NYS Early Learning Guidelines. The 4\/5\u2019s continue their work with gross motor skills, and fine motor skills, with a focus on preparing for writing. The 4\/5\u2019s class works on letter recognition and phonemic awareness, numbers 1 -20, calendar, and weather. They also review colors, days of the week, and do more in depth crafts, activities, and lessons. Since this class meets more frequently, the teacher is able to dedicate more time on topics that the children are interested in and provides more learning time in the classroom for families who are looking for that option.<\/p>\n

There are\u00a0no required Parent Helper Days<\/strong>\u00a0in the classroom for this program, only our basic Cooperative commitment of Classroom jobs or Board commitment.<\/p>\n

Child must be 4 years old by December 1st, 2026.<\/em><\/p>\n

12:45-1:05<\/b>\u00a0 Morning arrival routine: find your name, choose your zone, question of the day, wash hands, choose table top toys or block area activities<\/span><\/p>\n

1:05-1:25<\/b>\u00a0 Morning Circle and Language Development: Daily job chart, review schedule of the day, Pledge of Allegiance, Good Morning Song, calendar and weather job, Hello Helper, Morning Story, Jolly Phonics Letter Song, Recipe for Reading letter sound and Handwriting Without Tears letter formation intro, and theme story.<\/span><\/p>\n

1:25-2:25<\/b>\u00a0 S.M.I.L.E. Time and Free Flow Snack: Socializing, Moving, Imagining, Learning, Exploring through learning centers such as math, language, science, books, dramatic play, fine motor and projects<\/span><\/p>\n

2:25-2:55<\/b>\u00a0 Large Motor Movement or Outdoor Play Adventure<\/span><\/p>\n

2:55-3:10<\/b>\u00a0 Science or Math Fun: Introduce a STEM science theme-related activity or math skills and concepts using charts, graphs, songs, and hands-on experiences.<\/span><\/p>\n

3:10-3:15\u00a0 <\/b>Closing Circle: Sharing and discussion about the morning, show and share bag, talking ball and Goodbye Song, <\/span>Dismissal and Sign-Out Procedure<\/span><\/p>\n
