Teachers

Each Perinton Nursery School class is led by our amazing lead teacher, Barb Anderson. We always have at least one adult for every 6 children.  In classes with 12-16 students, Mrs. Anderson is assisted each day by our beloved assistant teacher, Jessica Best, as well as by a parent volunteer.  In classes with fewer than 12 students, Mrs. Anderson is assisted some days by Mrs. Best and other days by a parent volunteer.

As parents, we know that warmth and enthusiasm from well-trained and dedicated teachers is extremely important in a preschool. Our certified lead teacher, Mrs. Barb Anderson, has been with PNS for over 16 years and has fine-tuned a wonderful curriculum and hand-picked all the activities in the classroom.

Our assistant teacher, Mrs. Jessica Best, has been with PNS for two years and we feel so lucky to have found someone with such energy and warmth, and who also comes with rich experience as a mother and a former teacher to youngsters with disabilities.

Both teachers are certified in CPR and first aid.
